ESET Smart Security 7 is undoubtedly an early preview discharge of ESET's latest security suite. It includes an antivirus engine, web browsing and antiphishing protection, a bunch intrusion prevention system, social websites protection, a firewall, spam filter, parental controls plus more.
New features feature an advanced memory scanner, which checks application in RAM, so bypassing lots of the tricks malware might use to disguise its real code.
A Device Control module builds on the first sort Removable Media functionality, helping you to take complete treating the ways your users can access and use any given device type.
A new Vulnerability Shield does a better job of detecting your PC's vulnerabilities.
The Antiphishing module now blocks scam sites, and allows feedback (both reporting of suspect sites and false positives) from users. The firewall is smarter, and simpler to use. And the suite is usually more compatible, running properly on Windows 8, with a mail plugin which fully supports Windows Live Mail and Office 2013.
As we write, the beta usually expire following October 2013, so there's the required time for testing. Still, we wouldn't recommend you make use of it for your long: it's a beta, and can contain bugs, which means you shouldn't count on it for long-term protection.
